2. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee (PRO Monthly)

If you purchase a PRO monthly subscription ($9/month), you may request a full refund within 30 days of your initial purchase for any reason.

Conditions:

  • Only applies to your first month of subscription
  • Must be requested within 30 days of the original purchase date
  • Refunds are not available for renewal charges or subsequent months
  • No refund is provided for partial months if you cancel mid-billing cycle

After the First Month:

You may cancel your PRO monthly subscription at any time to prevent future charges, but no refunds will be issued for:

  • Renewal charges
  • Partial billing periods
  • Unused days in the current billing cycle

3. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee (PRO Annual)

If you purchase a PRO annual subscription ($99/year), you may request a full refund within 30 days of your initial purchase for any reason.

Conditions:

  • Only applies to your first year payment of subscription
  • Must be requested within 30 days of the original purchase date
  • Refunds are not available for renewal charges or subsequent years
  • No refund is provided for partial years if you cancel mid-billing cycle

After the First Year:

You may cancel your PRO annual subscription at any time to prevent future charges, but no refunds will be issued for:

  • Renewal charges
  • Partial billing periods
  • Unused days in the current billing cycle

4. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee (LIFETIME)

If you purchase a LIFETIME plan, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your purchase if you are not satisfied with our service.

Conditions:

  • Must be requested within 30 days of purchase
  • Account must not have excessive usage that indicates full value extraction
  • Subject to review to prevent abuse (see "Exceptions" below)

5. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances:

  • Downloaded Files: Once you have downloaded stencil files (SVG, DXF, PDF, or layer PNGs) from our platform, the purchase becomes final
  • Used Processing Credits: If your plan includes processing credits and you have used them to generate stencils, those credits are non-refundable
  • Renewal Charges: Subscription renewals beyond the first billing period (PRO Monthly and PRO Annual plans)
  • Partial Months: Unused days remaining in a billing cycle after cancellation
  • Lifetime Plans After 30 Days: LIFETIME purchases requested after the 30-day window
  • FREE Plan: The FREE tier is complimentary and has no refundable amount

6. Exceptions and Refund Denial

We reserve the right to deny refund requests in the following circumstances:

6.1 Abuse of Service

Evidence of account abuse, including but not limited to:

  • Creating multiple accounts to exploit trial periods
  • Excessive downloading followed by immediate refund request
  • Pattern of repeated purchases and refund requests

6.2 Violation of Terms

Breach of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy

6.3 Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your financial institution instead of contacting us first, your account may be suspended and you will forfeit your right to a refund.

6.4 Technical Issues on Your End

Refunds are not provided for issues caused by:

  • Incompatible hardware or software on your device
  • Poor internet connection
  • User error or lack of technical knowledge
  • Failure to meet minimum system requirements

Note: We will work with you to resolve legitimate technical issues with our platform before considering a refund.

7. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Email Support

Send an email to support@stencillab.ai with the subject line "Refund Request"

Step 2: Include Required Information

  • Your registered email address
  • Order/transaction ID (found in your purchase confirmation email)
  • Date of purchase
  • Reason for refund request (optional but helpful)
  • Confirmation that you have not downloaded any stencil files (if applicable)

Step 3: Wait for Confirmation

Our support team will review your request within 2-3 business days and respond with a decision

Step 4: Refund Processing

If approved, refunds are processed within 5-7 business days to the original payment method

9. Subscription Cancellation Policy

9.1 PRO Monthly Subscription

You can cancel your PRO subscription at any time by:

  • Logging into your account and navigating to Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription
  • Contacting support at support@stencillab.ai

Important:

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • You will retain access to PRO features until the end of the paid period
  • No refunds are provided for partial months or unused days
  • You will not be charged again after cancellation

9.2 PRO Annual Subscription

You can cancel your PRO annual subscription at any time by:

  • Logging into your account and navigating to Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription
  • Contacting support at support@stencillab.ai

Important:

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current annual billing period
  • You will retain access to PRO features until the end of the paid period
  • No refunds are provided for partial years or unused days
  • You will not be charged again after cancellation

9.3 LIFETIME Plan

LIFETIME plans are non-recurring and do not require cancellation. Once purchased, you have permanent access to Stencil Lab PRO features (subject to our Terms of Service).

10. Account Termination

If we terminate your account due to violation of our Terms of Service, no refund will be issued, regardless of when the purchase was made.

11. Consumer Rights

This Refund Policy does not override your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws.

11.1 For California Residents:

Under California Civil Code Section 1723, you have the right to a clear refund policy disclosure. This policy satisfies that requirement.

11.2 For EU Residents:

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, you have the right to cancel purchases of digital content within 14 days if you have not yet downloaded or accessed the content. By clicking "I agree" before downloading stencil files, you waive this right as permitted by law.

11.3 For UK Residents:

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement if our service is defective or does not match its description. This policy complements, but does not replace, your statutory rights.

11.4 For Australian Residents:

Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement for defective services or services that do not match their description. This policy operates in addition to your consumer guarantees.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal and regulatory reasons. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.

Material changes (such as reducing refund windows or adding new exceptions) will be communicated via email to active subscribers at least 30 days before taking effect.

Continued use of Stencil Lab after policy changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
